Michelle Ellis, Ph.D. Michelle has a Ph. D. in Psychology and is licensed as both a Clinical and School Psychologist. She also has a master's degree in special education with state certification as a teacher, special education teacher, principal, and special education supervisor. Michelle has spent the last thirty years working with adults and youth providing individual, group, family and couples therapy in residential and outpatient treatment settings as well as the prison system. Currently she is the Chief of Behavioral Health at the Marana Health Center. Cheryl Martin, MA, LPC Cheryl has an MA in Counseling Psychology and is licensed as a Professional Counselor. She has been providing behavioral health services for 10 years specializing in domestic violence, substance abuse, and family therapy. Cheryl is currently the Clinical Supervisor for Behavioral Health Services. Marla Perry, Ph.D., PNP Marla has a Ph. D. in Psychology and is licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She has over 30 years experience in the behavioral health field in a variety of settings including community health centers, residential substance abuse programs, outpatient clinics and psychiatric hospitals. Marla is one of the newest members of our team, providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management to our AHCCCS/BH clients. Linda Kapinos, PNP Linda is licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and has worked in the field for over 10 years. Linda has worked as a clinic nurse, in home health care, in substance abuse facilities and in community health centers. Linda is also a new member of our Team providing psychiatric services to our AHCCCS/BH clients. Tamara Montgomery, LPN Tammy is licensed as a practical nurse and has worked with adolescents in a residential setting as well as in a psychiatric hospital setting. Tammy joined our Team in June 2010. Gayle Mason, BA Gayle has a diverse background working with both the seriously mentally ill population as well as those with developmental disabilities. In addition, Gayle worked for 8 years as a counselor for at-risk youth. Gayle has been at MHC for 6 years. She is currently the Adult Services Coordinator as well as a provider of direct services to our SMI population. Janet Zache, BSW Janet is currently employed at the MHC Healthcare as the Children's Services Coordinator. In addition Janet is a therapist with expertise in child and family therapy. Janet also provides school based services and parenting groups as well as crisis services. She has 10 years experience in the mental health field. Benna Henderson, LCSW Benna is currently employed at the MHC Healthcare as a therapist specializing in wellness, chronic pain and domestic violence. Over the last twenty years, Benna has co-facilitated a variety of groups including parenting, substance abuse, domestic violence, chronic pain, and wellness. In addition, Benna works with individuals, families, and couples. Benna is the Coordinator of the Domestic Violence Program, 'Interpersonal Awareness, Tools for Living in a Violent World'. William Gary Stewart, LCSW Gary is currently employed at the MHC Healthcare as a therapist specializing in adolescent and family issues. Over the last twenty five years, Gary has had experience in outpatient treatment as well as experience working in psychiatric hospitals and residential settings. Gary has worked in the area of children and adolescent and family therapy specializing in issues of family dysfunction, violence, and substance abuse. Luis 'Ruben' Bonilla, MS Ruben has over three years working with youth and families in an outpatient setting. He recently received his masters degree in Community Counseling and will be providing individual, group and family therapy at Behavioral Health Services. Mary Amick, MA Mary specializes in children and families. She has been working in the field for four years providing individual and family therapy to at-risk youth and their families. Mary also co-facilitates the Loving Relationships and Love and Logic Parenting Groups. Pam Moorehead, LISAC Pam has been working in the behavioral health field for over 20 years. The majority of her work has been in 'corrections' in the field of addictions. She is currently coordinating the substance abuse program, conducting substance abuse groups as well working with our dual-diagnosed clients. Marcel Rivera, MA, Ph.D. pending Marcel relocated from Miama, FL. where he was Clinical Director of a crisis unit. He is currently providing a variety of therapeutic services at MHC including adult and adolescent therapy as well as co-facilitating several groups. Glenn 'Stone' Roybal, CADAC Stone has over twenty five years in the field providing substance abuse, domestic violence, grief and trauma therapy in both outpatient and residential settings. Stone also provides several traditional Native American services including 'talking circles'. Paul Tweekrem, BSW Paul is a USAF veteran and former Texas peace officer who began his career at MHC as an intern while working on a professional degree in social work at Arizona State University. He was then hired as a case manager for our GMH clients. Currently, he works as a therapist in the field of Substance Abuse and will attend Grand Canyon University beginning May 2010 in pursuit of a Masters in Addiction Counseling. Edythe Dittmar Edythe has been working at the Marana Health Center for over three years. She has been in the behavioral health field for over 22 years, working with a variety of populations including children, adolescents and families. She is currently a care coordinator for our SMI clients. Phil Naylor, BS Phil has been working in the Criminal Justice system since 2006. Phil has a variety of behavioral health experience including case management with male and female probationers and parolees. He is currently working as a Behavioral Health Care Coordinator doing intakes and case management for our seriously mentally ill and general mental health clients. Sidney Smith Sidney is currently employed at the MHC Healthcare as a Care Coordinator for the Elderly and Disabled. She has been working with this population for 10 years. Paula Cousins Paula is one of the newer members of the behavioral health team having been with us only about a year. She is currently a Case Manager for our general mental health clients and is working with our Substance Abuse Team. Paula has been volunteering in the area of Substance Abuse treatment for the last several years. Crystal Ulibarri, BA Crystal has her bachelors in Criminal Justice and began working at Behavioral Health Services in December 2009 as a care coordinator for our general mental health clients. Brenda Libby Brenda was hired as one of our Resource Recovery Specialists (RSS). She works closely with clients and families needing peer support services. Brenda has been working in the field as a RSS for the last several years. Tammy Bushman Tammy was also recently hired as a RSS. Tammy just recently graduated from the RSS Institute in Tucson. Jackie Grenier Jackie has been working as a Family Support Specialist for several years. She was recently hired to work in this capacity with our children and families. Joanne Sorenson, LCSW - INTEGRATION PROGRAM Joanne has many years of behavioral health experience working with a variety of clients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She is currently working in our Medical Department as a Behavioral Health Consultant with our Integration Program.
