Interpersonal Awareness - Domestic Violence Group Behavioral Health Services has several Domestic Violence (DV)or Interpersonal Awareness groups that meet weekly for two hours. Court ordered individuals may attend for 24, 26 or 52 weeks. Aftercare is also available for clients who wish to remain in the group after they have fulfilled their court requirements. The DV curriculum is very structured consisting of facilitator presentations, client presentations and discussions in the areas of power and control, forms of abuse, family of origin issues, communication and relationship issues. |
